Any Cruise, Anywhere, Any Time

Australian Dance Voyage

12 March 2019 - 6 nights - aboard Queen Elizabeth

Australian Dance Voyage – Cunard Line have partnered with the world-renowned Australian Dance Theatre to present their first dance event journey from Australia. Join Queen Elizabeth on a six night Tasmania voyage to enjoy two bespoke performances from Australian Dance Theatre. During the cruise the dance company will also hold movement workshops and Insights talks.

Enjoy two bespoke performances of ‘The Beginning of Nature,’ a compelling and ritualistic work exploring life cycles and themes of metamorphosis and transformation within nature, weaving together music and astonishingly powerful contemporary dance performed by the nine stellar dancers of ADT. At times fierce and explosive, at other times graceful and meditative, this stunning work will leave you completely enthralled.

For 53 years Australian Dance Theatre (ADT) has been creating exceptional contemporary dance and touring it to wide acclaim nationally and internationally since its inception. Founded by Dr Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM in 1965, ADT is at the forefront of Australian contemporary dance. As the longest running contemporary dance company in the country, ADT has developed an unrivalled body of Australian dance. As Australia’s most internationally toured dance company, ADT is a cultural ambassador for contemporary Australian dance, performing to over 250,000 people worldwide since 2001 at some of the most prestigious theatres in the world.
