To join our tour during these unprecedented times all staff/guests must agree to the following Covid safe operation plan:
I/We agree to:
- Enter my/our entry details to the tour via a QR code entry app prior to boarding. (Train Management will assist you if required)
- Have a temperature check prior to boarding> Temperature must be between 36.4°C (97.5°F) and 37.5°C (99.6°F). If you have a temperature above this or display any flu like symptoms* you will be denied boarding.
*Possible COVID-19 symptoms - cough, sore or scratchy throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste, loss of smell or a fever (37.5° or higher).
- Download and activate the Federal Governemnt COVIDSafe app on an iPhone or Android device.
- Read, agree and comply with all plans and protocols outlined by Train management for the safe operation of this rail journey.
You will have found a link to these in your final payment coonfirmation email.
- Remain seated onboard the Heritage rail motors on the journey to and from Griffith.
- Wear gloves and a face mask when visiting the bathroom and use hand sanitiser as directed.
- Wear a face mask at other times as requested and to follow all reasonable directions given by Train management or staff for the safety of all passengers.
- Accept that if social distancing is not possible at any time during the trip you will take responsibility for keeping yourself/partner safe by wearing a face mask and sanitizing your hands etc.
- Once your final payment is received, if the trip is subsequently then cancelled for any reason you will accept a Future Rail Credit (FRC) for 100% of the trip value.
