AIRLINE SEATING – All seating requests will be forwarded to the airline; however, we cannot guarantee that these will be confirmed as this is at the airline’s discretion. If you prefer to have your seats confirmed prior to departure, advise your Cruise Express Travel Specialist and they will discuss upgrading you to an alternative fare where available.

SPECIAL REQUESTS – Any special requests must be advised to us at the time of booking (e.g. diet, room location, a particular facility at a hotel, etc). You should then confirm your requests in writing. Whilst every effort will be made by the Facilitator to arrange your reasonable special requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be fulfilled. The Facilitator will inform the relevant supplier(s) of each request. The fact that a special request has been noted on your confirmation invoice or any other documentation or that it has been passed on to the supplier(s) is not confirmation that the request will be met. Failure to meet any special request(s) will not be a breach of contract on the Facilitator’s part unless the request has been specifically confirmed. The Facilitator does not accept bookings that are conditional upon any special request(s) being met.
TRAVEL WARNINGS – The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade issues regular updates for overseas travel. Please refer to the DFAT website – www.smartraveller.gov.au – for the most up-to-date travel advice. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have proper passport and visa documentation and that no personal circumstances such as a criminal offence or travel to another country will affect your individual visa requirements.
Most countries now require passports to be valid for at least 6 months after your return date to Australia. If your passport is in its final year, you should check with the Embassy of the country you are visiting. For further information please contact the Australian Passport Office (www.passports.gov.au).
If you fail to take the necessary steps, the Facilitator has no liability to you and you will be responsible for paying any costs incurred by the Facilitator in helping you because of such failure on your part. Further, the Facilitator is not liable to you for any illness or discomfort you suffer through failure to have required vaccinations or to follow medical advice.
Please contact your doctor for advice on health requirements and to ensure you have the required vaccinations to gain entry to any country you will be visiting.
HOLIDAY AND MUSEUM CLOSURES – Museum visits and personal shopping time may be disrupted due to unforeseen circumstances or any religious, state and local holidays observed throughout the world.
MOTORCOACH FACILITIES – Most coaches used on tour will be equipped with washrooms. These are typically for emergency use, as plenty of comfort stops will be made, allowing you the opportunity to use public restrooms and/or stretch your legs.
CONDITIONS OF SUPPLIERS – Many of the services which make up your holiday are provided by independent suppliers. Those suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions which will form part of your contract with us. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier’s liability to you, usually in accordance with applicable International Conventions. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions are available on request from the Facilitator or the supplier(s) concerned.

The Facilitator does not accept responsibility in contract or in tort for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond its control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on the part of the Facilitator, including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, flood, unusually severe weather, pandemic, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or not involving the Facilitator’s employees).
