After two nights exploring the glories of London, embark on a European rail spectacular taking in the glittering lakes and towering peaks of Central Europe in true style.
From London, you will transfer by Eurostar to historic Cologne, via Brussels, before venturing south to the foothills of the Alps on the German shores of Lake Constance. Traverse some of the most scenic railway lines in the world as the Alpine Belle weaves its way into the Austrian Tyrol at Innsbruck. From here you will travel through the heart of the Alps to Salzburg, Austria’s musical mountain city. Journey’s end will either be in Wiesbaden, one of Europe’s oldest spa towns, or Frankfurt, Goethe’s hometown. All passengers will be transferred to Frankfurt for onward arrangements.
The express steam locomotive 01 1104 will be joined by Swiss and Austrian locomotives as you weave your way through tunnels and viaducts, and over the mountain passes of the Alps. This region offers something for everyone, from the oldest cog railway in Europe still running with steam to scenic boat trips and cultural excursions.
The carriages will include vintage dining coaches from the 1960’s and the elegant Prestige Continental Express dining carriages, modelled on the style of the legendary Orient Express salon cars.

- 5 star passengers will be welcomed on board with a glass of Champagne and will receive lunch on board the train on days 1, 3, 5 and 8. A half bottle of wine per person is included on each travel day
5 star passengers will also receive dinner either on board the train or in their hotels on days 1, 3, 5 and 8 and a four-course evening meal at the award winning Interalpen Hotel on day 4
4 star passengers will be welcomed on board with a glass of Bucks Fizz and will receive lunch and dinner on board the train on days 1, 3, 5 & 8 - A team of engaging and helpful Belle Trains staff both on board the train and at all hotels
