After crossing the spectacular Blue Mountains, We enjoy a stay in Orange and a wonderful exploration of the local area featuring lunch at a local winery. At Cowra, we visit a beautiful Japanese Garden, take high tea in a stunning heritage lounge car and a short ride on the Lachlan Valley heritage railway.
From here, our 132 year old steam locomotive 3237 will take charge of our heritage train as we journey cross-country to Parkes, Narromine, Dubbo and Stuart Town. Lunch at a traditional country pub, the spectacular Taronga Western Plains Zoo and a tour of the Royal Flying Doctor Service are just some of the inclusions you will enjoy on this exclusive rail adventure.
There cannot be a better way of exploring this region than by settling back in your heritage carriage as your train takes you to one fascinating destination after another.
