TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS GREAT SOUTHERN |
Please note, the below details are current as of Friday 14 January 2022.
Guests travelling on our overnight rail journeys are required to have a negative rapid antigen test taken on the morning of departure. If you feel unwell or return a positive result on this test, please do not travel to the terminal, and contact our Travel Centre as soon as possible. If you are unable to acquire a rapid antigen test, we are able to provide one at the terminal, but please note you will be required to wait outside the terminal until a negative result is confirmed. This generally takes around 15 minutes. Journey Beyond will continue to follow advice from relevant authorities and to utilise our JourneySafe operational plan to further protect the health and safety of guests and crew. |

Safeguarding guests, employees and the communities into which we travel is at the heart of everything Journey Beyond does. As part of the Journey Beyond COVID safe experience, a vaccination policy is in place providing guidance in the absence of mandated state-based health orders or other Government directives. From 01 January 2022, guests travelling on the Great Southern must be fully vaccinated, with proof of vaccination required when checking in for their journey. |
