13 December 2023 Sydney – Board the Indian Pacific in Sydney. As the train winds through the breathtaking Blue Mountains, explore the comforts of life onboard, get acquainted with your cabin and fellow travellers. After settling in, savour your first meal – a regionally-inspired dinner paired with all-inclusive fine wines and beverages. After dinner, join fellow guests for a late night drink then settle in to your cabin for your first night onboard. (L,D)     3pm
14 December 2023 Broken Hill – Arrive in the ‘Silver City’ of Broken Hill as the day begins. Embark on a morning ‘off train’ excursion to discover the mining history and artistic culture of this unique town where the streets are wide and there’s a pub on every corner. Lunch is served onboard as the Indian Pacific enters the southern tip of the spectacular and ancient Flinders Ranges.
Adelaide – Arriving in the city of Adelaide this afternoon, choose from a tour of the city, a visit to the world famous Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale wine regions (seasonal), or a trip to the beautiful Adelaide Hills featuring the culinary delights of Hahndorf. (B,L,D)

15 December 2023 Nullarbor / Rawlinna – awake to the seemingly endless expanse of the Nullarbor Plain. Breakfast is served as you travel along the longest stretch of straight railway track in the world. This evening, your sense of wonder will be ignited as you enjoy the tranquility of dinner under the brilliant desert stars in remote and beautiful Rawlinna (seasonal). (B,L,D)   Cook

Perth – Breakfast is served as you glide through the mild skies and cool green vales of the Avon Valley on your way to Perth, arriving after an onboard lunch. Disembark the train at East Perth Terminal and transfer to your hotel for a five night stay in the city centre.

Situated beside the Swan River, Perth is a magical place to explore. Start in Kings Park on Mount Eliza for an enchanting treetop walk. Indulge in some retail therapy with a visit to the high-end fashion boutiques of King Street. You can’t miss the historic port of Fremantle with its prison & shipwreck galleries. And just north east of Perth lies the Swan Valley, Western Australia’s oldest wine region.

Esperance – Beaches beckon in this western port town. Dig your toes into Australia’s whitest sand beaches and gaze out at over 100 islands in the archipelago. Hikers will be left stunned by the incredible views on the Cape Le Grand Coastal Trail, while animal lovers will make memories as they get up-close and personal with penguins, sea lions, dolphins and more on Woody Island. There are also koalas, platypus, ring-tailed possums, birds, and 45 plant species found nowhere else on Earth. Watch penguins, pelicans, whales, and sea lions at Seal Bay Conservation Park, and see more sheep than people – at a ratio of about 136 to one.
