Product Manager – Cruise
Reports to Marketing Manager
Specific duties to include:
- Review cruise industry sources including emails, websites and press to select FIT products suitable for marketing to the Cruise Express client base
- Undertake market research such as source ideas/feedback from the sales team, research competitors.
- Seek products that match Cruise Express preferred suppliers.
- Drill down to the most appealing, exciting and potentially profitable products for development into weekly eflash material.
- With the Marketing Manager and Groups Manager – Cruise, Identify specific opportunities for the companies Exclusive Group Escorted Tour programme
- Using approved costing templates prepare product P&L’s for approval
- Liaise with Product Manager – Rail for product for cross platform opportunities
- Develop marketing collateral including web pages, eflash and sales briefing notes.
- Work with Marketing Manager for channel marketing plans
- Evaluate product performance via email open rates, CTR, enquiries received and bookings achieved.
- Work with supplier representatives to obtain special offers, special rates, marketing support and stay generally abreast of new offers in the market place.
- Brief Sale Manager and sales team using Workplace to ensure clear understanding of offers.
- Maintain the Cruise Express website ensuring product pricing is kept up to date and expired offers removed.
